Gene Simmons says he’s proud of what he told Eddie Van Halen when Eddie begged to replace Ace Frehley in KISS. Simmons told Eddie to stay with the band he started. And that he would cast too big of a shadow to be the guitar player in KISS. But there is still a three track recording with Gene and the Van Halen brothers.
Coheed and Cambria have replaced their bass player, Michael Todd who was arrested for holding up a drugstore while on tour claiming he had a bomb. New bassist is Zach Cooper who is already working with them on their new album. And they will be joining Iron Maiden on tour this summer.

Guitarist Vivian Campbell was always very public about his difficulties with Ronnie James Dio and has now revealed plans to put together the original lineup of Dio with Vinne Appice, bassist Jimmy Bain and keyboardist Claude Schnell along with new singer Andy Freeman. Vivian says he vows Andy will do justice to Dio’s legacy.
