Sir Paul McCartney ended 2011 on a high note as official records show that the Beatle has accumulated almost double his 2010 earnings, Paul had a good year.. making around $46.4 million in 2011 and tying the knot with American heiress Nancy Shevell.
In other news, Paul and his daughters Mary and Stella have released a new cookbook, The Meat Free Monday Cookbook to educate people about how to eat less meat not just for their health but also to influence the sustainability of the world by decreasing their environmental impact.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin was forced to defend his property when an intruder decided to give him an impromptu performance of Coldplay material. The uninvited guest started singing Coldplay songs to his friends on the street. At first, Chris gave him tips and said he wasn’t doing a couple of things right… but when the trespasser carried on… Chris politely asked him to leave which he did.
Janet Jackson has been named Grinch of the Year by animal rights group PETA….beating out director Cameron Crowe and reality TV star Kim Kardashian. Jackson teamed up with company Blackglamma to debut her line of fur clothing accessories in November. Yuck.
A vintage 1978 Gibson guitar was stolen from Bob Seger’s home in Michigan. Estimated value is between $8000 and $10000 and the guitar can be seen on the cover of Seger’s Greatest Hits album.

A recent Foo Fighters concert in New Zealand helped bring about tremors similar to those of a volcanic quake. The movements of 50,000 excited fans were registered by two seismic stations. Auckland GeoNet reported that the first quake happened during Tenacious D’s opening set but the biggest tremor came when the Foos took the stage. 50,000 fans is equal to around 5000 tons of mass moving on the ground for the duration of the concert. In recent Foo news, Dave Grohl thanked fans for an amazing 2011 and suggested that there might be a new Foo record happening next year.
